On Recollections, I discuss my personal thoughts and memories of progressive rock and related music. On this month’s show, I will be discussing and playing the music from my personal recollections of the first time I heard music from the neo-progressive rock band Cairo. Later in the show will be my “Versus” segment, where I will play and compare an original musical work from the classic rock band Foreigner, to its later prog cover by Lana Lane. For you “completest” out there, that segment should be an interesting one to explore. I will also play one of my favorites for you and this month it will be from the experimental European band Brainticket. Later in the show, I will be presenting prog from a non-prog band, and this month it will be from Led Zeppelin. Before I end the show, I will also present a concert recollection of ELP from Aug 1992 in Phoenix AZ.
