On this month’s show, I will be discussing and playing the music from my personal recollections of the first time I heard music from the Baltimore neo-progressive rock band Iluvator. Later in the show will be my “Versus” segment, where I will play and compare an original musical work, to its later prog cover. This month I will be comparing the classical work Carmina Burana to its later prog cover by Carl Palmer. For you “completest” out there, that segment should be an interesting one to explore. I will also play one of my favorites for you and this month it will be from the 20th century classical composer Alberto Ginastera. Later in the show, I will be presenting prog from a non-prog band, and this month it will be Dire Straits.
