On Recollections, I discuss my personal thoughts and memories of progressive rock and related music. On this month’s show, I will be discussing and playing the music from my personal recollections of the first time I heard music from Barclay’s James Harvest and 60’s pop artist Donovan. Later in the show will be my “Versus” segment, where I will play and compare an original musical work from the musical and movie West Side Story, to its later prog cover by The Nice. This month marks the 10th anniversary of Keith Emerson’s passing, so this month’s Versus segment is a salute to him. I will also play one of my favorites for you and this month it will be from Ashra. Later in the show, I will be presenting prog from a non-prog band, and it will be by The Who.
