On this month’s show I will be discussing and playing the music from my personal recollections of the first time I heard the music of the French progressive rock band Magma. Later in the show will be my “Versus” segment, where I will play and compare an original musical work, to its later Prog cover. This month’s versus entry is Jean Sibelius’s classical work titled “The Karelia Suite” and its later Prog cover by The Nice. For you “completest”, that segment should be an interesting one to explore. Also on this month’s show will be a concert recollection of Emerson, Lake and Palmer, when they were on their Black Moon Tour in Phoenix AZ in the early 1990’s.
