On Recollections, I discuss my personal thoughts and memories of progressive rock and related music.  On this month’s show, I will be discussing and playing the music from my personal recollections of the first time I heard music from the French prog band Halloween. Later in the show will be my “Versus” segment, where I will play and compare an original musical work, to its later prog cover. This month I will be featuring “The Gnome” from Pictures At An Exhibition by the classical composer Mussorgsky, and its later prog cover by ELP. I will also play one of my favorites for you and this month it will be from SOLAR Project. Later in the show, I will be presenting prog from a non-prog band, and this month it will be the Metal band Black Sabbath. And to end the show I will relay a concert recollection from The Keith Emerson Memorial Tribute concert in 2016.
