On Recollections, I discuss my personal thoughts and memories of progressive rock and related music.  On this month’s show, I will be discussing and playing the music from my personal recollections of the first time I heard music from Marco Lo Muscio. Later in the show will be my “Versus” segment, where I will play and compare an original musical work, to its later prog cover. This month I will be comparing the great Doors song “Roadhouse Blues”, to its later cover by Deep Purple. I will also play one of my favorites for you and this month it will be from Aphrodite’s Child. Later in the show, I will be presenting prog from a non-prog band, and this month it will be from Metallica. To end the show I will relay a concert recollection from ELP, that took place in January 1978 in my home town of Cincinnati, OH.
