These recollections will stretch back to my teenage years through the present era. On this month’s show, I will be discussing and playing the music from my personal recollections of the music soundtrack from the original Outer Limits TV show of the early 1960’s. Then later, a recollection of the first time I heard any music from Atomic Rooster. Later in the show will be my “Versus” segment, where I will play and compare an original musical work, to a later cover. This month I will be presenting two versions of the great jazz fusion piece Birdland, first by Weather Report, and its later 3 piece jazz fusion cover by Niacin. And this month I will be presenting a listener’s submitted concert recollection of the short lived band 3, from April 1988, in Boston.
