On Recollections, I discuss my personal thoughts and memories of progressive rock and related music.  On this month’s show, I will be discussing and playing the music from my personal recollections of the first time I heard a Christmas song from the late, great Keith Emerson. Later in the show will be my “Versus” segment, where I will play and compare an original musical work, to its later prog cover. This month I will be comparing the classical music piece “The Pathétique” Symphony # 6, 3rd Movement by Tchaikovsky, to its prog cover by The Nice. For you “completest” out there, that segment should be an interesting one to explore. I will also play one of my favorites for you and this month it will be from the short lived Yes band Anderson, Bruford, Wakeman, and Howe. Later in the show, I will be presenting prog from a non-prog band, and this month it will be Queen.
